रमणीयाश्व भूतानां निधानं च धृतव्रता: । प्रणेतारशक्षु लोकानां शास्त्राणां च यशस्विन:
ramaṇīyāś ca bhūtānāṁ nidhānaṁ ca dhṛtavratāḥ | praṇetāraś ca lokānāṁ śāstrāṇāṁ ca yaśasvinaḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “พวกเขาเป็นที่รื่นรมย์และเป็นที่รักของสรรพสัตว์ทั้งปวง เป็นดุจขุมทรัพย์อันประเสริฐ มั่นคงในปณิธานและวัตร พวกเขาเป็นผู้นำทางของสังคม—ผู้วางรากและพิทักษ์ศาสตรา (ศาสตฺร) —และมีเกียรติยศยิ่งใหญ่”
