भृगुका नाम लेनेसे धर्मकी वृद्धि होती है। वसिष्ठ मुनिको नमस्कार करनेसे वीर्य बढ़ता है। राजा रघुको प्रणाम करनेवाला क्षत्रिय संग्रामविजयी होता है तथा अश्विनीकुमारोंका नाम लेनेवाले मनुष्यको कभी रोग नहीं सताता
bhīṣma uvāca | bhṛgūṇāṃ nāma grahaṇena dharmasya vṛddhir bhavati | vasiṣṭha-muneḥ namaskāreṇa vīryaṃ vardhate | rājā raghuṃ praṇamya kṣatriyaḥ saṅgrāma-vijayī bhavati | aśvinī-kumārayor nāma grahaṇena manuṣyaṃ kadācid rogo na bādhate |
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—เมื่อเอ่ยนามวงศ์ภฤคุ ธรรมย่อมเจริญ. เมื่อถวายบังคมฤๅษีวสิษฐะ พลังและเดชย่อมเพิ่มพูน. กษัตริย์ผู้เป็นกษัตริยะที่นอบน้อมแด่พระราชารฆุ ย่อมมีชัยในสงคราม. และผู้ใดสรรเสริญนามอัศวินีกุมาร ย่อมไม่ถูกรบกวนด้วยโรคภัย.
