महाबुद्धिर्महावीरयों महाशक्तिर्महाद्युति: । अनिर्देश्यवपु: श्रीमानमेयात्मा महाद्विधृक्
bhīṣma uvāca | mahābuddhir mahāvīryo mahāśaktir mahādyutiḥ | anirdeśyavapuḥ śrīmān ameyātmā mahā-dvidhṛk ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—พระองค์ทรงมหาปัญญา ทรงมหาวีรยภาพ; ทรงมหาศักติและมหารัศมี. พระวรกายทรง ‘อันนิรเทศยะ’—เกินพรรณนา; ทรงเป็น ‘ศรีมัน’—เปี่ยมด้วยสิริและอิศวรรย์. พระอัตตภาวะทรง ‘อเมยะ’—มิอาจวัดหรือคะเน. และทรงเป็น ‘มหาทวิดฤก’ ผู้ทรงค้ำจุน—ผู้ทรงยกภูผาใหญ่เพื่อพิทักษ์โลก ดังมันทระในคราวกวนอมฤต และโควรรธนะในคราวคุ้มครองโค.
