ऋषय : पितरो देवा महाभूतानि धातव: । जड़माजड़मं चेदं जगन्नारायणोद्धवम्,ऋषि, पितर, देवता, पञठ्च महाभूत, धातुएँ और स्थावर-जंगमात्मक सम्पूर्ण जगत्--ये सब नारायणसे ही उत्पन्न हुए हैं
ṛṣayaḥ pitaro devā mahābhūtāni dhātavaḥ | jaḍam ajaḍamaṃ cedaṃ jagan nārāyaṇodbhavam ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—ฤๅษี ปิตฤ (บรรพชน) เทพทั้งหลาย มหาภูต และธาตุทั้งปวง ตลอดจนจักรวาลนี้ทั้งที่ไร้จิตและมีจิต ล้วนกำเนิดจากนารายณะ
