Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्त: स तु देवेश: प्रतिपूज्य गिरे: सुताम् । लोकान् विसर्जयामास सर्वैरनुचरैर्वृतान्,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--युधिष्ठिर! पार्वतीजीके द्वारा इस प्रकार नारीधर्मका वर्णन सुनकर देवाधिदेव महादेवजीने गिरिराजकुमारीका बड़ा आदर किया और वहाँ समस्त अनुचरोंके साथ आये हुए लोगोंको जानेकी आज्ञा दी। तब समस्त भूतगण, सरिताएँ गन्धर्व और अप्सराएँ भगवान् शंकरको सिरसे प्रणाम करके अपने-अपने स्थानको चली गयीं

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า ครั้นถูกกล่าวดังนั้นแล้ว พระผู้เป็นใหญ่แห่งเทพทั้งหลาย—หลังจากถวายเกียรติแด่ธิดาแห่งภูผา (ปารวตี)—ก็ทรงให้หมู่ผู้มาชุมนุมซึ่งรายล้อมด้วยบริวารทั้งปวงแยกย้ายไป ครั้นแล้วหมู่ภูต เหล่าสายน้ำ คนธรรพ์ และอัปสรา ต่างน้อมเศียรกราบพระศังกร แล้วกลับสู่ที่พำนักของตน
