Śiva-darśana through Tapas and Stuti (उपमन्यु–कृष्ण संवादः)

उमोवाच एवं भविष्यत्यमरप्रभाव नाहं मृषा जातु वदे कदाचित्‌ | भार्यासहस्राणि च षोडशैव तासु प्रियत्वं च तथाक्षयं च

umovāca—evaṁ bhaviṣyaty amaraprabhāva nāhaṁ mṛṣā jātu vade kadācit | bhāryāsahasrāṇi ca ṣoḍaśaiva tāsu priyatvaṁ ca tathākṣayaṁ ca ||

พระอุมา ตรัสว่า “เป็นเช่นนั้นแน่ โอ กฤษณะผู้รุ่งเรืองดุจทวยเทพ เราไม่เคยกล่าวเท็จเลย เจ้าจักมีมเหสีหนึ่งหมื่นหกพันนาง ในหมู่นางเหล่านั้น ความรักที่มีต่อเจ้าจักยั่งยืน และความมั่งคั่งจักไม่รู้สิ้น”
