यावच्च जायते मर्त्यस्तावच्छूरो भविष्यति । वह अपने सारे पापोंको धो डालता है और परलोकमें आधिपत्य प्राप्त करता है। फिर जब वह मनुष्ययोनिमें जन्म लेता है, तब शूरवीर होता है
yāvac ca jāyate martyas tāvac chūro bhaviṣyati |
สกันทะกล่าวว่า ตราบใดที่มนุษย์ยังเกิดมาเป็นปุถุชนผู้ต้องตายอยู่ ตราบนั้นเขาย่อมเป็นผู้กล้าหาญอยู่เสมอ
स्कन्द उवाच
The verse links moral-spiritual consequence with character across births: by the fruit of one’s deeds (especially those praised in this context), sin is purified, higher status is gained in the next world, and on returning to human birth one is naturally endowed with heroic valor.
Skanda is speaking and describing the continuing results of a person’s conduct across the cycle of births—attainment in the other world and the reappearance of bravery when reborn among humans.
