मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
वर्षासु वर्षतस्तावन्निवसत्यमरप्रभ: । वर्षा-ऋतुमें आकाशसे धरतीपर जितनी बूँदें गिरती हैं, उतने वर्षोतक वह देवोपम तेजस्वी पुरुष ब्रह्मलोकमें निवास करता है
varṣāsu varṣatastāvan nivasaty amaraprabhaḥ |
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—ตราบใดที่ฤดูฝนยังโปรยปรายอยู่ ตราบนั้นเอง—คือเป็นกาลนานนับเป็นปีเท่าจำนวนหยาดฝนที่ตกจากฟ้าสู่พื้นพิภพ—บุรุษผู้รุ่งโรจน์ดุจเทพนั้นย่อมพำนักอยู่ในพรหมโลก
