उपवासफलात्मकविधिः — Upavāsa as Yajña-Equivalent Merit

क्षीणस्याप्यायन दृष्ट क्षतस्प क्षतरोहणम्‌ । व्याधितस्यौषधग्राम: क्रुद्धस्य च प्रसादनम्‌

kṣīṇasyāpyāyanaṃ dṛṣṭaṃ kṣatasya kṣatarohaṇam | vyādhitasyauṣadhagrāmaḥ kruddhasya ca prasādanam ||

อังคิรสกล่าวว่า “แม้ผู้ซูบผอมก็ยังมีทางฟื้นกำลัง ผู้บาดเจ็บก็มีการสมานและงอกใหม่ ผู้เจ็บป่วยก็มีหมู่โอสถ และผู้โกรธก็มีทางระงับให้สงบได้”
