भक्षयेच्छास्त्रदृष्टानि पर्वस्वपि विवर्जयेत्‌ । शास्त्रोंमें जिन काष्ठोंका दाँतन निषिद्ध माना गया है

Transliteration

bhakṣayecchāstradṛṣṭāni parvasv api vivarjayet |

Translation

ไม้สำหรับขัดฟันที่คัมภีร์ห้ามไว้ พึงละทิ้งเสียโดยสิ้นเชิง ใช้แต่ไม้ที่คัมภีร์อนุญาตเท่านั้นในการชำระฟัน; ทว่าในวันปัรวะ—วันพิธีหรือวันถือพรต—แม้ไม้ที่อนุญาตนั้นก็พึงงดเว้นด้วยความสำรวม
