ययातेर्वानप्रस्थतपःस्वर्गारोहणम् | Yayāti’s Vānaprastha Austerities and Ascent to Heaven

शुक्र उवाच अधर्मात्‌ त्वां विमुज्चामि वृणु त्वं वरमीप्सितम्‌ | अस्मिन्‌ विवाहे मा म्लासीरहं पापं नुदामि ते

Transliteration

śukra uvāca: adharmāt tvāṁ vimucyāmi vṛṇu tvaṁ varam īpsitam | asmin vivāhe mā mlāsīr ahaṁ pāpaṁ nudāmi te ||

Translation

ศุกรากล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา เราปลดท่านให้พ้นจากมลทินแห่งอธรรมแล้ว จงขอพรที่ท่านปรารถนาเถิด อย่าให้มีความระทมในพระทัยเกี่ยวกับการอภิเษกนี้เลย เราจะขจัดบาปของท่านให้สิ้น”
