Kaca–Devayānī Dialogue and the Curse on Vidyā
कृतकार्या ततस्तूर्णमगच्छच्छक्रसंसदम् | त॑ं वने विजने गर्भ सिंहव्याप्रसमाकुले
kṛtakāryā tatas tūrṇam agacchac chakrasaṃsadam | taṃ vane vijane garbha siṃhavyāghrasamākule
ครั้นบรรลุประสงค์แล้ว นางก็รีบจากไปสู่สภาของศักระ (อินทรา) โดยพลัน ในป่าร้างอันเปลี่ยวเหงานั้น—ซึ่งเป็นถิ่นที่สิงห์และเสือชุกชุม—หญิงผู้มีครรภ์ถูกทอดทิ้งไว้ ท่ามกลางภยันตราย อันเป็นฉากรองรับหน้าที่แห่งธรรมในการคุ้มครองและอุปการะต่อไป
