Śakuntalā-Janma-Nāmakaraṇa (Birth and Naming of Śakuntalā) | शकुन्तला-जन्म-नामकरणम्
प्रजज्ञे त्वथ शार्दूली सिंहान् व्याप्राननेकश: । दीपिनश्न महासत्त्वानू सवनिव न संशय:,राजन! तुम्हारा कल्याण हो, वेगवान् घोड़े और वानर हरीके पुत्र हैं। गायके समान पूँछवाले लंगूरोंको भी हरीका ही पुत्र बताया जाता है। शार्दूलीने सिंहों अनेक प्रकारके बाघों और महान् बलशाली सभी प्रकारके चीतोंको भी जन्म दिया, इसमें संशय नहीं है
