सौतिर्वाच भगो: सुदयिता भार्या पुलोमेत्यभिविश्रुता । तस्यां समभवद् गर्भो भृगुवीर्यसमुद्धव:ः,उग्रश्रवाजीने कहा--महामुने! भूगुकी पत्नीका नाम पुलोमा था। वह अपने पतिको बहुत ही प्यारी थी। उसके उदरमें भृगुजीके वीर्यसे उत्पन्न गर्भ पल रहा था
sautir uvāca bhṛgoḥ sudayitā bhāryā pulometi abhiviśrutā | tasyāṃ samabhavad garbho bhṛguvīryasamudbhavaḥ ||
เสาติกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่มหามุนี! ภรรยาผู้เป็นที่รักยิ่งของภฤคุ เป็นที่รู้จักในนาม ‘ปุโลมา’ ในครรภ์ของนางมีครรภ์อันเกิดจากเดชแห่งพลังแห่งเชื้อของภฤคุเจริญอยู่”
