ररक्ष पृथिवीं देवीं श्रीमानतुलविक्रम: । देष्टारस्तस्य नैवासन् स च द्वेष्टि न कंचन,उनके पराक्रमकी कहीं तुलना नहीं थी। वे श्रीसम्पन्न होकर इस वसुधादेवीका पालन करते थे। जगतमें उनसे द्वेष रखनेवाले कोई न थे और वे भी किसीसे द्वेष नहीं रखते थे
rarakṣa pṛthivīṃ devīṃ śrīmān atulavikramaḥ | deṣṭāras tasya naivāsan sa ca dveṣṭi na kaṃcana ||
พระองค์ทรงเปี่ยมด้วยสิริและมีเดชานุภาพหาที่เปรียบมิได้ ทรงพิทักษ์รักษาเทวีปฐพี ในโลกไม่มีผู้ใดชิงชังพระองค์ และพระองค์เองก็มิได้ทรงชิงชังผู้ใดเลย
