Educational Q&A

The verse praises dharmic self-mastery: living with niyama (regulated discipline), conquering the senses (vijitendriya), and cultivating inner focus through solitude (ekānta) rather than outward show.

Śaunaka describes a figure who travels among many holy tīrthas and sanctuaries, maintaining vows and seclusion, consistently practicing restraint and disciplined conduct.
