धारयन्तो विचित्राणि काउचनानि मनस्विन: । कवचानि महाहणि वैदूर्यविकृतानि च,मनस्वी देवता विचित्र सुवर्णमय तथा बहुमूल्य वैदूर्य मणिमय कवच धारण करने लगे
dhārayanto vicitrāṇi kāñcanāni manasvinaḥ | kavacāni mahārhāṇi vaidūrya-vikṛtāni ca |

कश्यप उवाच
Outer splendour and costly equipment signify status and readiness, but implicitly point to the responsibility that accompanies power—preparedness for one’s appointed duty, especially in times of conflict.
Kaśyapa describes noble beings putting on ornate, precious armours made of gold and embellished with vaidūrya gems, indicating a scene of formal arming and preparation.
