Jarītā–Śārṅgā-saṃvāda: Ākhu-haraṇa and the Approach of Agni (आखुहरणं अग्न्यागमनश्च)
चक्षुविकलतां प्राप्ता न प्रपेदुश्च ते क्रतुम् । ततस्तेषामनुमते तदू विप्रैस्तु नराधिप:
cakṣuvikalatāṃ prāptā na prapeduś ca te kratum | tatas teṣām anumate tadū viprais tu narādhipaḥ ||
แม้จะประสบความบกพร่องแห่งสายตา พวกเขาก็มิได้ละทิ้งครตุ (ยัญพิธี) นั้น ครั้นแล้ว ข้าแต่พระราชา ด้วยความยินยอมของพวกเขา เหล่าพราหมณ์จึงประกอบพิธีนั้นให้เป็นไปตามแบบแผน
