Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः
वनन््दे द्रौपदी भद्रा प्रेष्याहमिति चाब्रवीत् । और उसने बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ उस अनुपम वधूको अनेक आशीर्वाद दिये। तदनन्तर पूर्ण चन्द्रमाके सदूश मनोहर मुखवाली सुभद्राने तुरंत जाकर महारानी द्रौपदीके चरण छूए और कहा--'देवि! मैं आपकी दासी हूँ”
vande draupadī bhadrā preṣyāham iti cābravīt | tataḥ sā bahu-prasannā tām anupamāṁ vadhūṁ nānāśīrbhir abhinandya | tadanantaraṁ pūrṇa-candra-sadṛśa-mano-hara-mukhī subhadrā tvaritaṁ gatvā mahārājñyā draupadyāḥ caraṇau spṛṣṭvā uvāca—“devi, ahaṁ tava dāsī” |
นางนอบน้อมแด่เทวีเทราปทีผู้เจริญ แล้วกล่าวว่า “ข้าพเจ้าเป็นนางรับใช้ของพระองค์” ครั้นแล้วด้วยความปีติยิ่ง นางได้ประทานพรนานาประการแก่เจ้าสาวผู้หาที่เปรียบมิได้ ต่อจากนั้น สุภัททราผู้มีพักตร์งามดุจพระจันทร์เพ็ญ รีบเข้าไปสัมผัสพระบาทของพระราชินีเทราปที แล้วทูลว่า “ข้าแต่เทวี ข้าพเจ้าเป็นข้ารับใช้ของพระองค์”
