स तु तैरभ्यनुज्ञातः कुन्तीपुत्रो धनंजय: । सहायैरल्पकै: शूर: प्रययौ यत्र सागर:,परंतु कुन्तीपुत्र शूरवीर धनंजय उन ब्राह्मणोंकी आज्ञा ले थोड़े-से सहायकोंके साथ उस स्थानकी ओर गये, जहाँ समुद्र लहराता था

sa tu tair abhyanujñātaḥ kuntīputro dhanañjayaḥ | sahāyair alpakaiḥ śūraḥ prayayau yatra sāgaraḥ ||

ครั้นได้รับอนุญาตจากพวกเขาแล้ว ธนัญชยะ โอรสแห่งกุนตี ผู้กล้าหาญ ก็ออกเดินทางพร้อมสหายเพียงน้อยนิด มุ่งไปยังสถานที่ซึ่งมหาสมุทรกำลังคำรามซัดสาด
