उलूप्युवाच जानाम्यहं पाण्डवेय यथा चरसि मेदिनीम्‌ । यथा च ते ब्रह्म॒चर्यमिदमादिष्टवान्‌ गुरु:,उलूपीने कहा--पाण्डुनन्दन! आप जिस उद्देश्यसे पृथ्वीपर विचर रहे हैं और आपके बड़े भाईने जिस प्रकार आपको ब्रह्मचर्य-पालनका आदेश दिया है, वह सब मैं जानती हूँ

Ulūpy uvāca: jānāmy ahaṃ pāṇḍaveya yathā carasi medinīm | yathā ca te brahmacaryam idam ādiṣṭavān guruḥ ||

อูลูปีกล่าวว่า “โอ บุตรแห่งปาณฑุ เรารู้ว่าท่านเร่ร่อนอยู่บนแผ่นดินด้วยเหตุใด และเราก็รู้ด้วยว่าเชษฐภราดาของท่านได้กำชับปฏิญาณพรหมจรรย์นี้แก่ท่านอย่างไร ประหนึ่งครูผู้สั่งสอน”
