निवर्तस्व महाबाहो कुरुष्व वचनं मम । न हि ते धर्मलोपो$5स्ति न च ते धर्षणा कृता,“अतः महाबाहो! मेरी बात मानो; वनवासका विचार छोड़ दो। न तो तुम्हारे धर्मका लोप हुआ है और न तुम्हारे द्वारा मेरा तिरस्कार ही किया गया है'

nivartasva mahābāho kuruṣva vacanaṃ mama | na hi te dharmalopo 'sti na ca te dharṣaṇā kṛtā ||

เพราะฉะนั้น โอ้ผู้มีพาหาอันเกรียงไกร จงหวนกลับและทำตามถ้อยคำของเราเถิด ธรรมของเจ้ามิได้พร่องลง และเจ้าก็มิได้ลบหลู่เราเลย ดังนั้นจงละความคิดที่จะออกไปอยู่ป่า
