ददर्श पाण्डवांस्तत्र वासुदेव॑ च भारत । स्नेहात्‌ परिष्वज्य स तान्‌ पप्रच्छानामयं तत:,भारत! विदुरजीने वहाँ पाण्डवों तथा वसुदेवनन्दन भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णको भी देखा और स्नेहपूर्वक उन्हें हृदयसे लगाकर उन सबकी कुशल पूछी

dadarśa pāṇḍavāṁs tatra vāsudevaṁ ca bhārata | snehāt pariṣvajya sa tān papracchānāmayaṁ tataḥ ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—โอ ภารตะ ณ ที่นั้นวิดุระได้เห็นเหล่าปาณฑพ และยังได้เห็นวาสุเทวะ (ศรีกฤษณะ) ด้วย ด้วยความรักใคร่เขาจึงโอบกอดพวกเขา แล้วจึงไต่ถามความผาสุกของทุกคน
