Tilottamā, Sunda–Upasunda, and the Pāṇḍava Samaya (Ādi Parva 204)

इति मे नैछिकी बुद्धिर्वर्ततेि कुरुनन्दन । न चार्थहेतोर्धर्मज्ञौ वक्ष्यत: पक्षसंश्रितम्‌,कुरुनन्दन! इनके विषयमें मेरा यह निश्चित विचार है कि ये दोनों धर्मके ज्ञाता महापुरुष हैं, अतः स्वार्थके लिये किसी एक ही पक्षको लाभ पहुँचाने-वाली बात नहीं कहेंगे

iti me naiṣṭhikī buddhir vartate kuru-nandana | na cārtha-hetoḥ dharmajñau vakṣyataḥ pakṣa-saṁśritam ||

“นี่คือความเชื่อมั่นอันแน่วแน่ของข้า โอ้ผู้เป็นความชื่นใจแห่งวงศ์กุรุ: บุรุษทั้งสองเป็นผู้รู้ธรรม ดังนั้นเพื่อผลประโยชน์ส่วนตน พวกเขาจะไม่กล่าวถ้อยคำที่ยึดติดฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่งอย่างลำเอียง”
