भूय एव तु भीष्मश्च द्रोणो विदुर एव च । युवां च कुरुतं बुद्धि भवेद् या न: सुखोदया,“परंतु मेरा विचार है कि भीष्म, द्रोण, विदुर और तुम दोनों एक साथ बैठकर पुनः विचार कर लो तथा कोई ऐसी बात सोच निकालो, जो भविष्यमें भी हमें सुख देनेवाली हो”
bhūya eva tu bhīṣmaś ca droṇo vidura eva ca | yuvāṃ ca kurutaṃ buddhiṃ bhaved yā naḥ sukhodayā ||
“แต่ถึงกระนั้น ขอให้ภีษมะ โทฺรณะ และวิทุระ—รวมทั้งท่านทั้งสอง—นั่งร่วมกันปรึกษาอีกครั้ง และกำหนดแนวทางที่จักก่อให้เกิดความผาสุกและสวัสดิภาพแก่เราต่อไปภายหน้า”
