कर्णस्य मन्त्रः — Duryodhana-प्रति नीति-विचारः

Karna’s Counsel on Strategy toward the Pāṇḍavas

आशभ्यां तव सुता राजन्‌ निर्जिता राजसंसदि । यमौ च तत्र कुन्ती च यत्र कृष्णा व्यवस्थिता,राजन! इन्हीं दोनोंने समस्त राजाओंके समूहमें आपकी पुत्रीको जीता है। उधर वे दोनों नकुल और सहदेव हैं। माता कुन्ती वहीं गयी हैं, जहाँ राजकुमारी कृष्णा है

āśābhyāṃ tava sutā rājan nirjitā rājasansadi | yamau ca tatra kuntī ca yatra kṛṣṇā vyavasthitā ||

ข้าแต่พระราชา พระธิดาของพระองค์ถูกชนะในท้องพระโรงโดยสองผู้นี้ ที่นั่นยังมีฝาแฝดนกุลและสหเทวะด้วย และพระมารดากุนตีก็เสด็จไปยังที่ซึ่งเจ้าหญิงกฤษณา (เทราปที) ประทับอยู่
