Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharma expressed through social and familial conduct: honoring elders and senior relatives (especially a paternal aunt) by touching their feet, and maintaining respectful greetings that reinforce kinship and harmony.

Balarāma and the two prominent Yadu heroes arrive among the Kurus; they respectfully identify themselves and touch the elders’ feet. The Kurus respond with joy and welcome, and the Yadus then pay reverence to Kuntī, their paternal aunt.
