इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत आदिपर्वके अन्तर्गत स्वयंवरपर्वमें सम्पूर्ण रजाओंके विमुख होनेसे सम्बन्ध रखनेवाला एक सौ छियासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate ādiparvaṇi antar-gata-svayaṃvaraparvaṇi sampūrṇa-rājānāṃ vimukha-bhavanena sambandhaṃ rakṣamāṇaḥ ekaśata-ṣaṭtriṃśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ.
ดังนี้ ในศรีมหาภารตะ ณ อาทิปัรวะ ภาคสวยัมวรปัรวะ บทที่หนึ่งร้อยแปดสิบหก อันว่าด้วยเหล่ากษัตริย์ทั้งปวงที่มาชุมนุมแล้วพากันผินหน้าถอยห่าง ก็สิ้นสุดลงเพียงนี้
