अध्याय १८४ — भैक्षविभागः, शयनविधानम्, धृष्टद्युम्नस्य निवेदनम्

Alms Distribution, Night Lodging, and Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s Report

पुरोहित: सोमकानां मन्त्रविद्‌ ब्राह्मण: शुचि: । परिस्तीर्य जुहावाग्निमाज्येन विधिवत्‌ तदा,तब सोमकवंशी क्षत्रियोंके पवित्र एवं मन्त्रज्ञ ब्राह्मण पुरोहितने अग्निवेदीके चारों ओर कुशा बिछाकर वेदोक्त विधिके अनुसार प्रज्वलित अग्निमें घीकी आहुति डाली

vaiśampāyana uvāca | purohitaḥ somakānāṃ mantravid brāhmaṇaḥ śuciḥ | paristīrya juhāvāgnim ājyena vidhivat tadā ||

ครั้งนั้น ปุโรหิตแห่งวงศ์โสมกะ ผู้เป็นพราหมณ์บริสุทธิ์ชำนาญมนตร์ ได้ปูลาดหญ้ากุศะรอบแท่นบูชา แล้วถวายเนยใสลงในไฟตามพิธีเวทโดยถูกต้อง
