पुरोहितेन तेनाथ गुरुणा संगतास्तदा । नाथवन्तमिवात्मानं मेनिरे भरतर्षभा:,उन गुरु एवं पुरोहितके साथ हो जानेसे उस समय भरतवंशियोंमें श्रेष्ठ पाण्डवोंने अपने- आपको सनाथ-सा समझा
purohitena tenātha guruṇā saṅgatās tadā | nāthavantam ivātmānaṃ menire bharatarṣabhāḥ ||
ครั้นได้อยู่ใกล้ชิดกับพราหมณ์ผู้เป็นทั้งปุโรหิตและอาจารย์นั้น เหล่าปาณฑพผู้เลิศในวงศ์ภารตะก็รู้สึกประหนึ่งตนมีที่พึ่ง มีผู้คุ้มครอง—มิใช่ผู้ไร้หลักนำอีกต่อไป หากได้รับการหนุนด้วยคำแนะนำอันชอบธรรม
