कल्माषपाद-शाप-कारणम्

Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse

ततस्तस्मिन्‌ गिरिवरे शुचिर्भूत्वा कृताउ्जलि: । आरिराधयिषु: सूर्य तस्थावूर्ध्वमुख: क्षितौ,तदनन्तर उस श्रेष्ठ पर्वतपर स्नानादिसे पवित्र हो भगवान्‌ सूर्यकी आराधना करनेके लिये हाथ जोड़ ऊपरकी ओर मुँह किये वे भूमिपर खड़े हो गये

tatastasmīn girivare śucirbhūtvā kṛtāñjaliḥ | ārirādhayiṣuḥ sūryaṃ tasthāv ūrdhvamukhaḥ kṣitau ||

จากนั้นบนภูเขาอันประเสริฐนั้น ครั้นชำระกายด้วยการสรงน้ำและพิธีชำระตนแล้ว พระองค์ประนมพระหัตถ์ เงยพระพักตร์ขึ้นเบื้องบน ยืนบนพื้นดินด้วยพระประสงค์จะบูชาพระสุริยเทพ
