कामवर्णा: कामजवा: कामत: समुपस्थिता: । इति गन्धर्वजा: काम॑ पूरयिष्यन्ति मे हया:,गन्धर्व-देशके घोड़ोंकी यह विशेषता है कि वे इच्छानुसार अपना रंग बदल लेते हैं। सवारकी इच्छाके अनुसार अपने वेगको घटा-बढ़ा सकते हैं। जब आवश्यकता या इच्छा हो, तभी वे उपस्थित हो जाते हैं। इस प्रकार मेरे गन्धर्वदेशीय घोड़े आपकी इच्छापूर्ण करते रहेंगे
kāmavarṇāḥ kāmajavāḥ kāmataḥ samupasthitāḥ | iti gandharvajāḥ kāmaṁ pūrayiṣyanti me hayāḥ ||
คันธรรพกล่าวว่า “ม้าของเราย่อมแปรเปลี่ยนสีได้ตามปรารถนา วิ่งได้ตามความเร็วที่ปรารถนา และจะปรากฏกายเมื่อประสงค์เท่านั้น ดังนี้ม้าพันธุ์คันธรรพของเราจักยังคงสนองความปรารถนาของท่าน”
