और्वोपाख्यानम्

विद्यया हानया राजन्‌ वयं नृभ्यो विशेषिता: । अविशिष्टाश्न देवानामनुभावप्रदर्शिन:,राजन! इस विद्याके बलसे ही हमलोग मनुष्योंसे श्रेष्ठ माने जाते हैं और देवताओंके तुल्य प्रभाव दिखा सकते हैं

vidyayā hānayā rājan vayaṁ nṛbhyo viśeṣitāḥ | aviśiṣṭāś ca devānām anubhāva-pradarśinaḥ ||

คนธรรพ์กล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา ด้วยอานุภาพแห่งวิทยาอันพิเศษของพวกเรา เราจึงได้รับการยกย่องว่าสูงกว่ามนุษย์ทั้งหลาย แท้จริงเราไม่ด้อยไปกว่าเหล่าเทพ เพราะเราสามารถสำแดงเดชานุภาพประหนึ่งทิพย์ได้”
