एकत्र चिरवासश्ष क्षमो न च मतो मम । ते तत्र साधु गच्छामो यदि त्वं पुत्र मन्‍्यसे,बेटा! एक स्थानपर बहुत दिनोंतक रहना मुझे उचित नहीं जान पड़ता; अतः यदि तुम ठीक समझो तो हमलोग सुखपूर्वक वहाँ चलें

ekatra ciravāsaḥ kṣamo na ca mato mama | te tatra sādhu gacchāmo yadi tvaṃ putra manyase ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “การพำนักอยู่ ณ ที่เดียวเป็นเวลานานนั้น ข้าพเจ้าเห็นว่าไม่สมควร และข้าพเจ้าก็มิได้เห็นชอบด้วย เพราะฉะนั้น ลูกเอ๋ย หากเจ้าคิดว่าเหมาะสมแล้ว เราจงออกจากที่นี่ไปยังที่นั้นโดยเรียบร้อยและสงบเถิด”
