इति श्रीमहाभारते आदिपर्वणि बकवधपर्वणि ब्राह्मणकन्यापुत्रवाक्ये अष्टपञज्चशदधिकशततमो< ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत आदिपर्वके अन्तर्गत बकवधपर्वमें ब्राह्मणकी कन्या और पुत्रके वचन-सम्बन्धी एक सौ अद्ठावनवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti śrīmahābhārate ādiparvaṇi bakavadhaparvaṇi brāhmaṇakanyāputravākye aṣṭapañcāśad-adhika-śatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ |
ดังนี้ ในศรีมหาภารตะ อาทิปัรวะ ภาคบกวธปัรวะ บทว่าด้วยถ้อยคำของธิดาและบุตรของพราหมณ์ บทที่หนึ่งร้อยห้าสิบแปด จึงสิ้นสุดลง
वैशग्पायन उवाच
