एतत्‌ सर्व समीक्ष्य त्वमात्मत्यागं च गर्हितम्‌ । आत्मानं तारयाद्याशु कुलं चेमौ च दारकौ,इन सब बातोंको विचार करके और अपने देहके त्यागको निन्दित कर्म मानकर आप अब शीघ्र ही अपनेको, अपने कुलको और इन दोनों बच्चोंको भी संकटसे बचा लीजिये

etat sarva samīkṣya tvam ātmatyāgaṃ ca garhitam | ātmānaṃ tārayād yāśu kulaṃ cemau ca dārakau ||

เมื่อพิจารณาทั้งหมดนี้แล้ว และรู้ว่าการสละชีวิตตนเป็นทางอันน่าติเตียน ท่านจงรีบช่วยตนเองให้รอด—ช่วยวงศ์ตระกูลของท่านด้วย—และช่วยเด็กทั้งสองนี้ให้พ้นจากภัย
