यज्ञैस्तपोभिरनियमैदनिश्व विविधैस्तथा । विशिष्यते स्त्रिया भर्तुर्नित्यं प्रियहिते स्थिति:,स्त्री यदि सदा अपने स्वामीके प्रिय और हितमें लगी रहे तो यह उसके लिये बड़े-बड़े यज्ञों, तपस्याओं, नियमों और नाना प्रकारके दानोंसे भी बढ़कर है
yajñais tapobhir aniyamaiḥ dānaiś ca vividhaiḥ tathā | viśiṣyate striyā bhartur nityaṁ priyahite sthitiḥ ||
พราหมณ์กล่าวว่า “หากภรรยามั่นคงอยู่เสมอในสิ่งที่เป็นที่พอใจและเป็นประโยชน์แก่สามีแล้ว ย่อมประเสริฐยิ่งกว่ายัญใหญ่ ตบะ ข้อวัตรเคร่งครัด และทานนานาประการ”
