अभिपूज्य महात्मानं भीम॑ भीमपराक्रमम् | पुनरेवार्जुनो वाक्यमुवाचेदं वृकोदरम्,इस प्रकार भयंकर पराक्रमी महात्मा भीमकी प्रशंसा करके अर्जुनने पुनः उनसे यह बात कही--
abhipūjya mahātmānaṃ bhīmaṃ bhīmaparākramam | punar evārjuno vākyam uvācedaṃ vṛkodaram ||
ครั้นถวายความนับถือและสรรเสริญภีมผู้มีจิตใหญ่และเดชานุภาพน่าเกรงขามแล้ว อรชุนก็กล่าวถ้อยคำต่อวฤโกทรอีกครั้งดังนี้
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse models proper conduct in dialogue: one should acknowledge and honor another’s virtues—especially strength used in righteous service—before proceeding to further counsel or requests. Respectful speech strengthens unity and aligns action with dharmic propriety.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Arjuna, after praising the great and formidable Bhīma (Vṛkodara), speaks to him again—signaling a continuation of their discussion and preparing the listener for Arjuna’s next words.
