ततस्तस्याम्बुदा भस्य भीमो रोषात् तु रक्षस: । उत्क्षिप्या भ्रामयद् देहं तूर्ण शतगुणं तदा,भीमसेन और घटोत्कच तत्पश्चात् काले मेघके समान उस राक्षसके शरीरको भीमने क्रोधपूर्वक तुरंत ऊपर उठा लिया और उसे सौ बार घुमाया
tatas tasyāmbudābhasya bhīmo roṣāt tu rakṣasaḥ | utkṣipya bhrāmayad dehaṃ tūrṇaṃ śataguṇaṃ tadā ||
ครั้นแล้วภีมะผู้เดือดดาลด้วยโทสะ ก็ฉวยยักษ์รากษสผู้ดำดุจเมฆฝน ยกกายของมันขึ้น แล้วเหวี่ยงหมุนอย่างรวดเร็วถึงร้อยครา
वैशम्पायन उवाच
When confronted by violent, unrighteous aggression, decisive strength used in defense of one’s people is portrayed as legitimate; Bhīma’s controlled ferocity functions as protective power rather than cruelty for its own sake.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Bhīma, enraged, lifts a cloud-dark rākṣasa bodily and spins him rapidly a hundred times, depicting Bhīma’s overwhelming physical dominance in the encounter.
