भीमसेन उवाच
The verse highlights the kṣatriya ideal of protection: strength is presented not as mere pride but as a pledge to shield the vulnerable and to deter wrongdoing. Courage functions ethically when it reassures the fearful and restrains aggressors.
Bhīma addresses a frightened, beautiful-eyed woman and asserts that no class of beings—rākṣasas, humans, gandharvas, or yakṣas—can withstand his prowess. He is consoling her and warning potential threats of his overwhelming power.
