The daughter’s lament on lineage and protection
स पाप: कोषवांश्वैव ससहायश्च दुर्मति: । अस्मानपि च पापात्मा नित्यकालं प्रबाधते,“पापी दुर्योधनके पास खजाना है और उसके बहुत-से सहायक भी हैं; इसीलिये वह दुर्बुद्धि पापात्मा सदा हमें सताया करता है
sa pāpaḥ koṣavāṁś caiva sasahāyaś ca durmatiḥ | asmān api ca pāpātmā nityakālaṁ prabādhate ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “คนบาปผู้นั้นมีทรัพย์และคลังสมบัติ อีกทั้งมีพรรคพวกมากมาย เพราะฉะนั้นผู้มีความคิดชั่วและจิตใจบาปนั้นจึงคอยรังควานพวกเราอยู่เนืองนิตย์”
