Hiḍimba’s Approach and Hiḍimbā’s Warning to Bhīmasena (हिडिम्बागमनम् / हिडिम्बा-भयवचनम्)

न संशयमनारुहा नरो भद्राणि पश्यति । संशयं पुनरारुह्य यदि जीवति पश्यति,कष्ट सहे बिना मनुष्य कल्याणका दर्शन नहीं करता। प्राण-संकटमें पड़कर यदि वह पुनः जीवित रह जाता है तो अपना भला देखता है

na saṁśayam anāruhya naro bhadrāṇi paśyati | saṁśayaṁ punar āruhya yadi jīvati paśyati ||

หากมิได้ก้าวขึ้นสู่ความลังเลและภยันตราย มนุษย์ย่อมไม่เห็นสิ่งอันเป็นมงคลแท้. แต่เมื่อเข้าไปในอันตรายนั้นแล้ว หากยังมีชีวิตรอดกลับมาได้ เขาจึงรู้แจ้งว่าประโยชน์ของตนอยู่ที่ใด.
