Educational Q&A

The verse highlights disciplined action under rightful authority: the student acts only after the teacher’s instruction and after auspicious rites, showing that skill and power should be exercised within the framework of dharma, training, and proper procedure.

After the preceptor’s order and the recitation of benedictions, the young warrior appears in full martial equipment—gloves, filled quiver, and bow—signaling his formal entry into the arena to demonstrate his trained prowess.
