Adi Parva 135: The Miner’s Warning and Construction of the Escape Passage
ततो रड्जराड़णगतो द्रोणो वचनमत्रवीत् | निवार्य वादित्रगणं महामेघनिभस्वनम्,तत्पश्चात् द्रोणाचार्यने महान् मेघोंके समान कोलाहल करनेवाले बाजोंको बंद कराकर रंगभूमिमें उपस्थित हो यह बात कही--
tato raṅgaraṅgam gato droṇo vacanam abravīt | nivārya vāditragaṇaṃ mahāmeghanibhasvanam, tatpaścāt droṇācāryeṇa mahān megha iva samāna-kolāhalaṃ kurvadbhir vādyaistad bandhayitvā raṅgabhūmim upasthitaḥ san idaṃ vacanam uktaḥ ||
แล้วท่านโทรณะเข้าสู่ลานประลองและกล่าวถ้อยคำ ก่อนอื่นท่านสั่งให้หมู่นักดนตรีซึ่งเสียงดังดุจเมฆครืนใหญ่สงบลง แล้วจึงยืนอยู่กลางสนาม กล่าวต่อที่ประชุม
