द्रोण उदाच वारयैतौ महावीरयों कृतयोग्यावुभावपि । मा भूद् रज्भप्रकोपो5यं भीमदुर्योधनोद्धव:,द्रोण बोले--वत्स! ये दोनों महापराक्रमी वीर अस्त्र-विद्यामें अत्यन्त अभ्यस्त हैं। तुम इन दोनोंको युद्धसे रोको, जिससे भीमसेन और दुर्योधनको लेकर रंगभूमिमें सब ओर क्रोध न फैल जाय
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
droṇa uvāca—vārayaitau mahāvīrau kṛtayogyāv ubhāv api |
mā bhūd raṅgaprakopo ’yaṃ bhīmaduryodhanodbhavaḥ ||
โทรณะกล่าวว่า “ลูกเอ๋ย จงห้ามวีรบุรุษใหญ่ทั้งสองนี้ไว้ ทั้งคู่ล้วนฝึกฝนจนพร้อมรบ อย่าให้เกิดความอลหม่านในสังเวียนอันมีภีมะและทุรโยธนะเป็นเหตุ จนความโกรธแผ่ไปทั่ว”
