ततो विततथन््वानं द्रोणस्तं कुरुनन्दनम् । स मुहूर्तादुवाचेदं वचन भरतर्षभ,भरतश्रेष्ठ] तब धनुष तानकर खड़े हुए कुरुनन्दन युधिष्ठिरसे दो घड़ी बाद आचार्य द्रोणने इस प्रकार कहा--
tato vitatadhanvānaṃ droṇas taṃ kurunandanam | sa muhūrtād uvācedaṃ vacanaṃ bharatarṣabha ||
แล้วท่านโทรณะเห็นกุมารแห่งกุรุยืนอยู่ด้วยคันธนูที่ง้างเต็มที่ ครั้นเว้นวรรคอยู่ชั่วครู่ จึงกล่าวถ้อยคำนี้—โอ ผู้ประเสริฐแห่งวงศ์ภารตะ
