Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)

यावत्‌ पिबति बालो<यं तावदस्मै प्रदीयताम्‌ । एवमस्त्विति तं नागं वासुकि: प्रत्यभाषत,“यह बालक जितना रस पी सके, उतना इसे दिया जाय।” यह सुनकर वासुकिने आर्यक नागसे कहा 'ऐसा ही हो”

yāvat pibati bālo 'yaṃ tāvad asmai pradīyatām | evam astv iti taṃ nāgaṃ vāsukiḥ pratyabhāṣata |

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “เด็กผู้นี้ดื่มได้เพียงใด ก็จงให้เพียงนั้นเถิด” ครั้นได้ฟังดังนั้น วาสุกีกล่าวตอบนาคนั้นว่า “เป็นเช่นนั้นเถิด”
