Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)

अयं बलवतां श्रेष्ठ: कुन्तीपुत्रो वृकोदर: । मध्यम: पाण्डुपुत्राणां निकृत्या संनिगृह्मुताम्‌,वह अपने भाइयोंके साथ विचार करने लगा कि “यह मध्यम पाण्डुपुत्र कुन्तीनन्दन भीम बलवानोंमें सबसे बढ़कर है। इसे धोखा देकर कैद कर लेना चाहिये

ayaṃ balavatāṃ śreṣṭhaḥ kuntīputro vṛkodaraḥ | madhyamaḥ pāṇḍuputrāṇāṃ nikṛtyā saṃnigṛhmūtām |

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—“ภีมะผู้นี้ โอรสแห่งกุนตี นามว่าวฤโกทร เป็นยอดแห่งผู้มีกำลัง แม้เป็นโอรสองค์กลางในบรรดาบุตรของปาณฑุ; พึงจับกุมและคุมขังเขาด้วยเล่ห์กล”
