Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)
हर्षात् प्रक्रीडमानांस्तान् गृह राजन् निलीयते । शिर:सु विनिगृहौतान् योधयामास पाण्डवै:,राजन! हर्षसे खेल-कूदमें लगे हुए उन कौरवोंको पकड़कर भीमसेन कहीं छिप जाते थे। कभी उनके सिर पकड़कर पाण्डवोंसे लड़ा देते थे। धृतराष्ट्रके एक सौ एक कुमार बड़े बलवान थे; किंतु भीमसेन बिना अधिक कष्ट उठाये अकेले ही उन सबको अपने वशमें कर लेते थे। बलवान् भीम उनके बाल पकड़कर बलपूर्वक उन्हें एक-दूसरेसे टकरा देते और उनके चीखने-चिल्लानेपर भी उन्हें धरतीपर घसीटते रहते थे। उस समय उनके घुटने, मस्तक और कंधे छिल जाया करते थे
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: harṣāt prakrīḍamānāṁs tān gṛhe rājan nilīyate | śiraḥsu vinigṛhītān yodhayāmāsa pāṇḍavaiḥ ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา เมื่อเด็กกุรุเหล่านั้นกำลังเล่นกันด้วยความรื่นเริง ภีมเสนะจะจับพวกเขาแล้วหลบซ่อนอยู่ในเรือน บางคราวจับศีรษะไว้แล้วบังคับให้เข้าปะทะปล้ำกับเหล่าปาณฑพ”
