मुहूर्तोदित आदित्ये सर्वे बालपुरस्कृता: । सदारास्तापसान द्रष्टं निर्ययु: पुरवासिन:,दो घड़ी दिन चढ़ते-चढ़ते समस्त पुरवासी स्त्रियों और बालकोंको साथ लिये तपस्वी मुनियोंका दर्शन करनेके लिये नगरसे बाहर निकल आये

Transliteration

muhūrtodite āditye sarve bālapuraskṛtāḥ | sadārās tāpasān draṣṭuṃ niryayuḥ puravāsinaḥ ||

Translation

เมื่อดวงอาทิตย์ขึ้นได้ไม่นาน ชาวเมืองทั้งปวง—ให้เด็กๆ อยู่เบื้องหน้า และออกไปพร้อมภรรยา—พากันออกนอกเมืองเพื่อเฝ้าดูและนมัสการเหล่าฤๅษีผู้บำเพ็ญตบะ
